What Did You Do With Your Talents

Posted on May 13, 2013 at 12:19 PM Comments comments (6)
What did you do with your Talents
Matthew 25: 14-15
After reading the scriptures you’re probably thinking like most of us, if I had at least one talent I would do this or I would do that.  Before we criticize the slothful servant let’s see what he was working with.
There are seven weights related to metal (thus creating "coins") are mentioned in the Bible: talent, mina, shekel, beka, gerah, pim, and kesitah.  The three most important weights, are talent, shekel, and gerah . Talent (kikkar), was the largest unit of weight in the Bible, in the parable of the talents three sets of talents were given, 1 talent= $29,085.00, 2 talents = $58,170.00, 3 talents = $145.425.00. As we go into the story keep in mind out of all the metals of value the journeymen gave his servants talents.
Jesus used this parable to explain to the disciples the kingdom of heaven, a parable is simply a story about a person, place, thing or an event, which either took place in the past, present or the future.  David said in 139 Psalms verse 6 (Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, Icannot attain unto it).  Jesus knew if he spoke with his infinite wisdom the disciples would never be able to comprehend what he was trying to formulate, so he spoke in parables.
The Journeymen is Jesus who’s going to a far country (the kingdom of heaven) and will return again, St. John 14:2-3, we are the servants.   He trusts us with his talents (Holy Ghost Act’s 1:8) to use for his gain.  As a receiver and believer Jesus the journeymen expects us to use our talents, gifts, and testimonies to win people to Christ.
Let’s look at the servants; each servant was given talents according to his several ability.  We wonder why we have certain gifts, such as: healing, prophecy, anointed preaching, anointed singing and much more.  It’s because God already knows you’re capable of using these talents for his glory. Some times as a people we get zealous of others gifts and talents, and ask the question what about me.  The word of God said if you be faithful over a few things he will make you a ruler over many. Utilize what you have and God will give the increase.   The servants were given talents according to their numerous abilities.   Remember God already know how much you can bare.  Everyone’s not going to have a T.D. Jakes or Juanita Bynum ministry, so you must operate in your ministry and be a good servant.  The servant with only one talent had his mind made up he was not going to do anything; he may have been upset displeased or even angry because the other two servants received more than he did (you know how we can be sometime). As saints we don’t want to become like the slothful servant, take your one, two, or three what ever number of talents and use it to the glory of God.   The Lord gave all of us talents it may not be in cash value, but the gift of the Holy Ghost was brought with a price and given to us for free  John said in Revelation 3:11( Behold I come quickly: holdthat fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown) We have at least five awesometalents.
1)      Power … to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy.
2)      Faith …… to believe  you can do all things through Christ
3)      Joy ………. the joy of the Lord is your strength, when you are weak thou art strong
4)      Anointing...  the anointing brakes the yoke
5)      Patience….  To wait on God, Isaiah said thy that wait on the Lord shall renew there strength
Pick any one of these talents and plant Gods seed and watch it grow.

Be Strong

Joshua 1
As we got closer to the middle of the New Year we probably threw our new year’s resolution out the window and made another one.  This probably happened because of the strain, stress and cares of this world.  It’s not strange to want to quit or throw your hands up and walk out, but I want to tell you don’t do it.   You must stand still and see the salvation of the lord, remember God won’t put any more on us than we can bear; he has groomed us for whatever job he has for us.
The lord spoke to Joshua and instructed him to take the children of Israel on the other side of Jordan.  What a task! Can you put yourself in his shoes? He had thousands of Gods people that were in slavery as well as born into slavery that were now free.  Can you image the mindset of the people that are angry, sad, and stressed out with disbelief?   Joshua had to take a group of people across Jordan and show them that the lord would bless them.
Let’s look at this real close, those same people left Egypt after 450 years of being in bondage, they went across the red sea on dry ground.  I’m sure there was this rejection of Gods man servant (Moses), as they traveled through the desert, and many die traveling and walking in a circle for 40 years.
So now its Joshua’s turn and the lord gave him a charge to bring his people to the land of milk and honey. Joshua was given instructions by God to be strong, God knew that Joshua’s task would be great, he reiterated his instructions on three occasions in the first chapter on how he wanted him to be strong and courageous, Joshua followed Gods ordinances to the letter and was blessed.
You and I will also be blessed as long as we follow Gods plan. You may have some concerns regarding your spiritual life, but know that God will be with you in spirit, as he was with Moses and Joshua he will be with you also.
As Joshua crossed the Jordan the lord raised the water to allow the children of Israel to walk through dry ground. The lord did this to let Joshua know that it was he that did it for Moses at the Red Sea, and that he will do the same for him at the river Jordan. God will take care of us, for he said in his word he will never leave us or forsake us, for our God is not a man that he could lie.
The Test
Because we are special to God and he loves us we will be tested and tried.   In the 7 chapter he was tested Joshua told his men to spy out the land of AI, upon their return the men said we didn’t need thousands of soldiers because the enemies were few. Joshua had sent three thousands soldiers, to take over AI.  Surprisingly AI defeated Israel.  Joshua was discouraged he went before the Lord to ask why they were defeated. The lord told Joshua he was angry because he didn’t follow his soldiers didn’t follow the instructions that were given.  God let him know that he was not with him in battle because of the sin that was in his camp. (Joshua7:19-21).
Joshua was tested by God to see if he would follow his ordinance. Joshua now had to chastise his cousin for stealing and causing the children of Israel to lose the battle to AI.
God was very angry with Joshua’s cousin for what he had done, and gave Joshua the instructions to stone and burn his cousin Ashcan, along with his entire family and all of their personal property. In return Joshua would win the battle and defeat AI.
The point of this class is to know that when you are tested and tried by God it’s for a purpose and that purpose is to make us better people of God, he wants us to be strong in the lord and in the power of his might putting on the whole armor of God so that you can withstand the fiery darts of the devil. Go through your test and trust in God and he will always bring you out.

Be Ye Holy

Be Ye Holy
Have you ever thought about what God is made out of? Or what substance or matter he’s made out of? Using humans as an example we are made out of flesh and bones. John the revelator said in Revelation 1:14- Gods eyes were like flames of fire and His feet as of brass and to look upon his countenance were as of the sun that shines in his strength.  Even with that description we still don’t know what God’s made out of.
John was up in the heavens in the spirit giving the best description of God, according to his natural ability, God is a spirit and spirits do not carry DNA. The substance in which god is made of is the Holy Ghost. I’m sure someone said what is that?  And I’m glad you asked, it is and invisible force which has pure power and is sin free.
Now if God is the Holy Ghost and He lives inside of us we must be holy, which means we are to follow the life of holiness. So what is holiness? Holiness is the spirit of God that dwells in you, and it makes you do right when you want to do wrong.
Paul said there is a war going on in his body members, every time he wants to do good evil is always present. Holiness is the power of God which enables you to separate yourselves from sin.
We live in this world but, we are not of this world. The word of God said come out from among them and be ye separated. Isaiah 35:8 said there is a highway and it is called holiness. So does this mean I have to change my ways? Yes when the Holy Ghost abides in you then you become a new creature, Old things are passed away.  Paul said in the book of Ephesians to put on the new man who after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
The new man – Ephesians: 4
1.       Verse: 23 your mind
2.       Verse: 25 put aside lying
3.       Verse: 26 anger but sin not
4.       Verse: 27 Neither give place to the devil
Holiness comes with a dress code
The dress code will change, so women adorn your selves in modest apparel, not with tight skirts or dresses appealing to the eyes of men. Dress as becoming holy woman of Go, you don’t have to dress like a mummy but wear your dress or skirt an inch or so below knee level.  When wearing a blouse or shirt you shouldn’t have anything revealing. Where the right size clothes, don’t put on a size sixteen if you’re a size twenty dress it’s not going to work.
Head Covering – 1 Corinthians 11:4
The covering of a women’s head is a minor conversation in the church today, minor meaning it’s just not discuss much or not at all.  I know the synthetic world has changed a lot of attitudes and it’s been a major blessing to many for it comes in all sizes shapes and styles forty or thirty years ago. I could remember the only women wearing wigs or weaves were Diana ross and the supreme or the old dead lady in a coffin, but today wigs and weaves are major in the church world  and I want to say this has blessed many but the wig the weave or any of the synthetic family could never take the place of the natural glory of a woman which is her HAIR regardless of the style the color or the length, according to the scriptures, a women’s hair is her glory her glory is for her husband so when a women enters a sanctuary she should cover her glory and let God s glory shine. The head of every man is Christ the head of every woman is the man the head of Christ is God.
Women wear prayer caps to cover their glory weave s or wigs are not the way out because you’re still allowing your glory to shine above Gods glory. 1 Corinthian 11:5 if a woman prays or prophesized with her head uncovered, she dishonored her head (Husband), and it’s as if she were shaven.
We are not leaving out the men for the scripture said it is shameful for a man to have long hair. Now the purpose of God allowing the length of a woman’s hair was to distinguish the different in a male or a female.  We must recognize that this body does not belong to us it is lease to us from birth until death, and like a lease car when you lease it you must bring it back exactly the way you took it out.
Your body is the temple of the living God and God wants to dwell in it. For he is holy and he don’t want the body to be defiled with drinking, smoking, or carving of the flesh, piercing or anything that will offend the temple of the living God.
So what is holiness? It is a way of life it is presenting your bodies a living sacrifice holy and acceptable unto God which is your reasonable service. We all want to go to heaven but God is looking for the body that he left to return to his kingdom.
For God said be ye holy for I am holy.

The Power is in the Name

The Power is in the Name
This class may become shocking and it may even appear to be speaking directly to you. If so don’t take it personal for your blessings are on the way.
I want to start out with a testimony and it will only take just a moment.   I want you all to know that I have been blessed to be saved, and filled with the gift of the Holy Ghost, with the evidence of speaking in tongues as the spirit of God gave utterance and I’ve been water baptized in the name of the lord Jesus Christ. I saying all this to say that every now and then more now than then I notice a trend runs through the church world.
For years we had the gay trend, most of them were on the low, now they have come out of the closet and straight from the PIT of Hell into the churches many are in the choir on auxiliary boards, and some are in the pulpit. I’m not just talking about the gays, but lesbianism is also a very large in the church also.
These and many other trends come with a copycat spirit; when it is demonstrated others pick up that spirit and copy it. This has become a major problem in the churches today and has allowed the fakes and the phonies to hide in the congregation.
So in today’s church world the trend is I’m saved and I’m running for my life!  Everyone in the church said they are saved, an 85% have no works, but according to Acts 1:8 it said after you receive the Holy Ghost you shall have power to cast out demonic spirits, the laying on of hands, and healing the sick.
Another trend that’s running wide in the church is the use of the name of Jesus.  Whenever you use the name of a person who represents power you must have permission to use that name today, folks are using the name of Jesus against demon forces without permission, this only comes with the Holy Ghost anointing. Jesus name tears down strong holds.
Let’s look in the lesson scripture, in Acts 19:11.  The Vagabond Jews are people who are bound by an oath or a spell who oppose Christians and decided to use the copycat spirit.  Paul was casting out evils spirits in the name of Jesus.
I want to make a serious point here that if you don’t have the power don’t!  I repeat don’t fake it.  In the book of James 2:9 it said that the devil no’s there one God and he trembles, he also knows your spirit and anointing and he comes to steal, kill, or destroy you.
There are two points I want you to understand
The vagabond Jews called the evil spirit over to them. Remember every time you enter that spirit world
1.       You risk your well-being an example: (the vagabond Jews were powerless, but they chose to copycat Paul by calling out demons when they had no power).
Don’t use the name without permission, Acts 19:13 said the Jews used the name of Jesus to cast out the evil spirit.
2.        And the evil spirit replied Jesus I know, Paul I know who are you?  The spirits will speak to you and then they will attack you.  Acts 19:16 said they were attacked and were run out of the house wounded and naked.
Also in the book of Acts, when peter preached the word of God and cast out demons he was jailed and beaten and order not to preach or teach anything in that name. The name of the Lord is a strong tower, and the righteous run there in and are safe. If you don’t know how to use it don’t!
If you buy a gun without a permit and proper training you are just a gun toting inexperience individual and will eventually shout yourself, its the same thing with the name if you’re not trained how to use it the demons will destroy you
Don’t play with Jesus name

The Power Of Praise

The Power of Praise
Acts 16:23-26
Paul and Silas were jailed and beaten for casting out a demon that was in a girl having the spirit of divination, besides the trauma of the severe beating, they were fastened in the stocks which cramped their arms and legs in an immovable position causing cramps and loss of circulation.   Yet spite of the throbbing pain in their bodies and the disheartening atmosphere, at midnight Paul and Silas begin to pray and sing praises unto God.  Then suddenly there was an earthquake that shook the prison; the doors flung open and the bonds of Paul and Silas were released.
Paul and Silas knew the secret to reaching God and it was through praise and worship. It provided a joyous presence and provided God a channel for his power to operate in those circumstances.  The Bible said that God inhabits the praises of his people, (Psalms 22:3) in other words, God dwells in the atmosphere of his praise.  This means that praise is not just a reaction from coming into his presence but praise is a vehicle of faith which allows us to enter into His glory.  Some think that worship is the response after the Holy Spirit moves upon them.  It’s the other way around, Gods presence responds when we move upon Him with worship!  Lifting up Jesus through praise invokes the Lords presence and power to flow in our midst.
What is Praise?
Praise is a command, to applauded or magnify.  As Christians when we praise God it’s an expression of worship; expression of humbling ourselves and putting our attention upon the Lord with our hearts, soul and mind.  It is an intimacy between ourselves and God which brings us to a higher praise.  There are many ways to praise God with verbal expressions, thanksgiving, singing, playing instruments, shouting, dancing or clapping your hands.  Praise is a sacrifice; something that we offer to God sacrificially, not just because we feel like it, but because we believe in him and wish to please him.

The If's of God

The IF’s of God
Deuteronomy 28:1-14
As saints we have been blessed above measure, we may look at our problems, situations or conditions and say we haven’t been blessed.  If the truth be told we have been blessed when we really didn’t deserve it.  I want to reveal the mystery of God’s blessing plain in this lesson.
All blessings from God are contingent upon meeting certain conditions, in the book of Deuteronomy 28:1-2 the Lord said “If” you hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments.  All these blessings shall come on thee and over take thee.  From verse one until verse 14 the Lord tells us of all the wonderful blessings we will inebriate If we hearken diligently to his word.  We will be blessed in the city, the field, fruit of thy body, fruit of thy ground and cattle, increase of thy kin and flocks.
Blessing upon thy baskets, blessings coming in and going out, the Lord said he will cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face  they shall come one way and flee seven ways.
Saints we are blessed and highly favored half of the bountiful blessings of God have not arrived yet, but look at verses 1-14 the blessings are listed, the key word to the blessing is “TF”.  We must understand that God wants, will and is able too bless but the If word can kill the blessing or bring it to life.
From the covenant of Moses until the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, God gave a If as a clause to the blessing.  It means just what it says if you do I will do this or I will do that and so forth.  We miss a large portion of our blessings because of disobedience.  The Lord said go, we say no, Jonah is a prime example, he was given an order to go to Nineveh instead he goes to Tar shish.  We still have the Jonah spirit in the church so many are preaching and have NOT been called, but I heard the word of God say “IF” my people who are called by my name would humble themselves and pray, and seek my face and turn from there wick ways I will heal the land.  I don’t know about you but I want the over flow blessing.  I want my blessing to over take me.  Not because of greed or need, but because I want God to be pleased with my service.
The year of 2012 is the year of earthly Government which means the year of order, as much as we don’t want to talk about death we have to live our spiritual life each day as if it’s our last.  I know we will have a crown waiting for us in heaven along with the riches of God.  Street’s paved with gold, diamonds, rubies and all the finest jewelry earth can produce at our finger tips.  But God want us to enjoy his riches while were on earth.  Who wouldn’t enjoy a beautiful home, fine cars, clothing and eating well.  God want to show case his particular children, so the world will know this is what your earthly reward will look like when you service him.
Now before I close I have to give you the bitter that came along with the sweet, I would like you pay special attention to verses 15-68.  God gives us an offer we can’t refuse serve me or else.  From verse 15-68 God curse everything the coming in the going out, meal barrel, our minds, body, children, and verse 45 said all these curses will over take you and destroy you If you don’t hearken to the word of the Lord.  I know some are thinking this is Old Testament, it doesn’t apply to us.  I come to tell you sorry it does the only thing God changed from the old too the New Testament was his name.  The Jehovah of the Old Testament is Jesus Christ of the New (Hebrews 8:6-13) Jesus has obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better, promises.  For if that first covenant had been faultless, than should no place have been sought for the second.
Saints understand something God blessed us for 14 verses of the 28 chapter of Deuteronomy. But he cursed us from verse 15- verse 68, which means our cruses are four times greater than our blessings.  I know it’s not easy because the flesh is weak, but greater is he that is in thee than he that is in the world.
We can and will make it we must become focus, steady and constant in our pray praise and worship.  Some things go out by prayer others go out fasting and praying.
God bless do your best

Reach Beyond The Brake and Hold On

Reach Beyond
The Brake And Hold On
A young man decided to take his boat out and go fishing, it was a rainy day, but the winds were claim.  As the young man went out to the deep a hair line crack appeared in the base of the boat, unaware.  The young man kept fishing and he eventually noticed water in the boat he thought it was rain.  Hours later the boat was filled with water and began to sink.  The young man was going down with the ship, he cried out help! His father came running, and said hold on son.  The father went to get an old rope and threw it out to the son , the father began to pull his son in, and the son said father the rope is breaking the father said Reach beyond the brake and hold on.
In the book Luke 22:42 Jesus was in the Garden of Gethsemane praying, he asked himself can this cup be passed from me.  The cup he was referring too was the cup of pain, suffering and death.  He knew he had to walk through Death, Hell, and the Grave he knew he had to redeem us from our sins.  His answer to his own question was “Not My Will But Thy Will be done”.  These profound words simply means if it was up to me I’d jump off this cross,( that would be the flesh speaking)  But Jesus had to reach beyond the break and hold on.
As we prepare to close out this year and enter a new one.  Let us renew a fresh anointing, along with a new spirit of praise and worship.  2 Corinthians 4:16 said our spirit is renewed day by day, so let us look over this year 2011 and our past year’s and ask ourselves a question, have I reached beyond the brake and held on?
Reaching beyond the brake means going beyond our normal duties in and out of the church, ask ourselves can I get better in my stewardship for Christ(not man).  We may think it’s hard because of all the drama in the church, but James said in the first chapter if we lack anything to  ask for it.  We have not because we ask not, John said in the 14 chapter if we ask anything in my name (Jesus) I’ll do it. We can make it saints reach beyond the brake, when the Pastor get on you, “Reach beyond the Brake”.  When the Deacons drink more wine then they serve during communion “Reach beyond the Brake”  If the church mother back slide and start swinging on a Pole, “Reach beyond the brake and hold on.  As we go into the New Year remember we want to be better.

It's Only a Matter of Time

“It’s Only a Matter of Time"
Psalms 56: 1-3, 69: 1-3, 41:1
In this lesson, we want to look at ourselves and view what we really see in the mirror as believers of Christ.   We all know about the greatest o King David and how he conquered Goliath, and won many battles.  David was a man after God’s own heart, but David went though just like you and I.  David’s faith was strong no matter what he went through he found himself asking God to forgive him or bring him though, David knew it was just a matter of time.
What comes to mind when you hear this topic?( It’s only a Matter of Time)
·         Something is about to happen
·         Something I’ve been waiting for is about to be released
·         It’s not taking place now but in due season
David speaks about being afraid we know too much about that, one time or another we were afraid bills were due, children were sick, our money was funny and our change was strange.  Through it all David said I will trust in thee, and this is were we have to get to stay and hold on to Gods Trust.  Some trust in horses and chariots,  cars, Benjamin’s, Franklins, and Grants but we shall trust in the lord.
In Psalms 56:1 David’s first words are “Be merciful unto me”.  If you want God to bless you, the first thing you must do is repent.  David is afraid like most of us are, but the trust he has in God enables him to prevail.
·         We say we have faith and we trust God but when things don’t happen we become wary.  In a matter of time things will happen for us.
In Psalms 69:13 “But as for me, my prayer is unto thee, O Lord in an acceptable time:  O God, in the multitude of thy mercy hear me in the truth of thy salvation.
·         God wants us to know that we need him, so he blesses us in his time he knows what we can handle; he won’t put more on us than we can bear. David want God to know my prayers are to the lord not my Mother ,wife or children. When we go before God in prayer he wants all our attention because he’s a jealous God ,and while you pray expect something to happen in a matter of time
Psalms 41:1 “Blessed is he that considered the poor: the Lord will deliver him in the time of trouble”.
·         While we’re praying for our blessings, don’t forget the poor.  God has a special blessing for the merciful. Blessed are the merciful for they shall obtain mercy (Matt 5:7).  Which means help someone else while you’re helping yourself?
·         He knows and sees all so trust in God and in a matter of time God will show his power.
·         We should never second guess God.  Each time we take steps forward and question God that lack of faith sends us a few steps backward.
·         Our faith level must stay consistent.
Why do we have doubts?
·         Different personality
·         Self esteem
·         Culture
·         Knowledge
·         Society
In Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ that strengthen me”
In an acceptable time which means in God’s time.  When you accept what God has for you, you will see change, favor, grace, mercy, forgiveness.  In the time of trouble the Lord will see us through.  We must stay patient and know that the Lord will never leave us nor forsake us.
In Isaiah 49:8. 59:1 God says accept me, I hear you, I will help you and I will preserve thee.
When we are afraid in an acceptable time God will step in.  When your back is against the wall, in the time of trouble God will step in and fight the battle.  He may not come when you want him to but, he will be there right on time.  Your prayers are always heard by God, but he tests your faith to see how long you can fight before giving up.  Just remember IN A MATTER OF TIME.  Everything will be fine.

Acts of the Apostle's

Acts of the Apostles
Acts 2:42
The book of Act’s is a remarkable book; the authorship is credited to Luke. He recorded twenty eight chapters of events, and covers the first thirty years of the Christians church history.
His purpose is to introduce the gospel to the gentiles and to give an account of the beginning Christianity.  In Luke’s recordings he uses the book of Acts to describe what Jesus wanted the church to teach after his ascension.
The book of acts is full of exciting events along with instructions for the church. Luke opens the first chapter by writing a descriptive letter to Theophilus, explaining the events of Jesus resurrection and his appearance for forty days.  He swiftly moves his letter to the ascension of Jesus Christ and his last commandments to the apostle (Acts 1:4).
Jesus said go to Jerusalem and wait for the promise of the father which is the Holy Ghost (Acts 1:8), the Lord said “after you receive the Holy Ghost you shall receive power”.
The Holy Ghost was so important to the early church that the Lord had Luke mention it fifty times in the book of Acts, it is still very important to the church of today and generations to come.  It’s as vital today as it was for the early church. The Holy Ghost is the spirit of God which dwells inside of you, it has the ability to designate special powers, which will give you more strength to cast out demons, drive out evil spirits and heal the sick.
Jesus teachings were e instilled in the apostles over a three year period.  The teachings are called the Apostles Doctrine (Acts 2:42) the word doctrine means: the teaching of the four gospels gives us the guide line for living as Christians.
For examples: The Ten Commandments, Sermon on the Mount, Baptism of water and the holy ghost. The Apostle’s job was to spread the gospel (l Corinthians 15:1-3) throughout the world.
On the day of Pentecost the lord filled Jerusalem with the promise of the Holy Ghost (Acts 2:1-4) and the book of (Joel 2:28-29) prophesied about these events.
We are Apostolic and we are teaching the doctrine of Jesus Christ which was passed down to the Apostles and from the Apostles down to us.  So we teach and preach the Apostles Doctrine.
 What is the Apostolic Doctrine?
A. We believe that Jesus Christ and God are one (1Timothy 3:16)
B. We believe that Jesus died and rose on the third day (Matthew 26:52)
C. We accept the Great Commission to go into the entire world and teach baptism of the holy ghost
D. We believe you are not saved until you speak in tongues as the spirit of god give utterance
E. The formula for going to heaven is that you must be born again by the water and of the spirit
F. We look forward to the Rapture which is God returning to take us to Heaven (1Thesolonians 4:13-16)

Delayed But Not Denied

Delayed But Not Denied
Daniels 10:1-13
In the book of St. John 14:13-14, the word of the Lord said, “Ask anything in my name and I will do it”. These words came shortly after the Lord said” let not your heart be trouble”.  These statements are awesome, profound, exciting and wonderful to hear, because they represent victory.  Now we know that when God said something he means it and that settles it, for we know that God is not a man that he should lie.
Now that we have that together let’s “ASK” (Pray) for something. Often when we pray we have to wait, even though a week has gone by and nothing yet, three weeks no action, a month or two and still no word no action nothing. You have just e experienced two of the three stages of your break through.
How to get a break through
Stage one: when you pray the bible said “seek Ye first the kingdom of heaven”, for we have a tendency to ask God for our needs first then our families and friends, that prayer is fine but it shouldn’t be first. After asking God for forgiveness seek the kingdom and tell the Lord you want to be an instrument used by him.
Stage 2 Wait: “They that wait on the Lord shall renew their strength”, wait with patience don’t waver or get discombobulated. St James said in chapter 1 verse, 14,” let patience have her perfect work”. Other words let patience do his thing you just keep smiling.
Stage 3:      PU SH: Act like a woman in Labor “PUSH”
Praise Him *  Until   *   Something  * Happens
“The prayers of the righteous prevaileth much”, your prayers are answered when you prayed, When Daniel went before the Lord fasting and praying he was praying about the vision, the spirit was making intercession for Daniel and reveal his needs, (Daniel:10:12). The angel told Daniel we heard your prayer on the first day you prayed, we were held up by the prince of Persia,( a worrier sent by Satan), to intercept your prayers.
Daniel’s fasting and praying press upon the angel to get him the answer he desire.  You’re praying and fasting is extremely important to your spirit.  Your prayers reveal your wants, needs and desires, your fasting strengthens your spirit and builds up your faith and ignites the power within you.
When you fast you’re rejecting the body, of the pleasures and the wants it craves, the food, drinks or entertainment.  By doing so you’re strengthening the spirit within.  When you pray you need a fresh spiritual anointing to empower your faith to believe that what so ever you want will come to pass.  Don’t be discouraged or dismayed about your prayers, they are not denied but just delayed.
